2011: Gordon earns 85th career Cup win
Jeff Gordon drove his No. 24 Chevrolet to Victory Lane at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sept. 6, 2011, marking his 85th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win. The result moved Gordon into third place on the all-time Sprint Cup wins list behind only Hall of Fame drivers Richard Petty and David Pearson.
