2001: Jack Sprague wins three truck championships

Jack Sprague won all three of Hendrick Motorsports’ NASCAR Camping World Truck championships in six seasons, earning titles in 1997, 1999 and 2001. The driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet contended each year for the championship, averaging a second-place finish in the final standings during his career with Hendrick. Sprague, a native of Spring Lake, Mich., earned a combined 23 wins, 94 top-five finishes, 118 top-10s and 19 pole positions in 150 Truck events.
