2012: Hendrick Motorsports' 200th Cup win

Jimmie Johnson, driver of the No. 48 Lowe's Kobalt Tools Chevrolet, won May 12 at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway to record Hendrick Motorsports' 200th points-paying victory in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competition. With the win, team owner Rick Hendrick remained ranked first in the modern era for wins and second all-time behind Petty Enterprises, which recorded 268 wins in more than half a century of competition.
