Dale Earnhardt Jr. made his Hendrick Motorsports debut by winning the 2008 Budweiser Shootout and a Gatorade Duel qualifying race for the Daytona 500. In June 2008, he led 14 laps on his way to Victory Lane at Michigan International Speedway, marking his 18th career Sprint Cup win and first with Hendrick. Since joining the organization, NASCAR’s most popular driver has earned multiple pole positions, including the 2011 Daytona 500, and two berths in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.
