Alan Gustafson

Alan Gustafson grew up just down the road from the Daytona International Speedway, which helped instill the racing bug in the youngster at an early age. In his first four seasons as crew chief of the No. 24 Drive to End Hunger Chevrolet, Gustafson has coached Gordon to several milestones. In September 2011, Gordon captured his 85th career Cup victory and improved to third all-time. One year later, Gordon visited Victory Lane for the first time at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November 2012 and also recorded the first win for Hendrick Motorsports at the 1.5-mile oval. In July 2014, Gordon earned a record fifth victory at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and four months later earned Hendrick Motorsports' 200th pole all-time. Combined, Gustafson and Gordon have scored 10 wins, 46 top-five finishes and 76 top-10s during the 2011-2014 seasons.
