Lance McGrew

In 2001, Lance McGrew was atop the pit box at Kansas Speedway when Ricky Hendrick became the youngest driver ever to win a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. Two years later, the Baton Rouge, La., native guided up-and-comer Brian Vickers to Hendrick Motorsports’ first Nationwide Series championship. As a crew chief, McGrew has won races in all three of NASCAR’s national touring series with drivers Hendrick, Vickers, Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart.
